The first action on the house was to insulated the roof, and seal the gaps. Painting the western external wall white also help made the house much cooler in summer.

We are now putting a large 10kw solar PV system in and a tesla battery so we control the power we send to the grid and thus can sell power to the grid at a fair price through Reposit Power. This will also mean we can charge our electric car at home during the day - and one day hope to add it's battery to the reposit system.
